President

Kirby founded Power Pros Electrical in 1999 after more than 11 years of experience in the electrical industry. Since 1999, Kirby has created a successful company with 80 plus employees that can handle projects of all sizes. HIs goal is to provide Power Pros team with an honest and helpful work environment, where every team member can dedicate themselves to providing our customers with extra ordinary service, exceptional workmanship and professional integrity. Kirby has established a strong working relationship with his staff to allow them to succeed in helping grow Power Pros into the successful company it has become today. Kirby has an active role in overseeing all facets of the company including its financial goals and strategic direction.

Vice President

As the Vice President and General Manager of Power Pros Electrical, Kody brings years of experience and a steadfast commitment to excellence in the electrical industry. He plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s mission to deliver high-quality service through empowering his team members, encouraging professional growth, and maintaining a relentless focus on safety and quality. Kody began his career in 1997 and has progressed through various roles gaining valuable insights into project management, team leadership, and client relations. His experiences in this industry have taken him across North America working on and managing a variety of projects ranging from big box commercial stored to large complex industrial jobs. Kody has successfully managed Power Pros largest projects to date, and in 2016, he took on the role of Vice President and is the current General Manager.

EV Department Director

Steve has worked in the electrical trade since 2005. He was a project foreman for 4 years before moving into the service department. He attended BCIT and received his “Red Seal” and “Field Service Representative” certification. He has extensive knowledge in residential, commercial, small industrial, fire alarm, motor and sequence of operation controls, electric vehicle charging, print reading, estimating, and has a strong mechanical aptitude. Currently, Steve works in Power Pros service department as a Service Manager. Steve is widely recognized in the Vancouver area as a leading expert in the design and installation of EV chargers.

Projects Department Director

After working in pipeline maintenance, Lance moved to the electrical trade in 2005 and began working for Power Pros Electrical in 2006. He has worked in industrial, Commercial and high-end residential sectors of the trade. His specific experience in electrical includes distribution, fire alarm (both addressable and non-addressable) installations, structured cabling systems, underground services, sport park lighting, low and high voltage controls, low voltage lighting controls, power systems, lighting systems, and troubleshooting in a variety of situations. After being a site superintendent for Power Pros Electrical, Lance was moved in an estimator’s role in 2013, and project management role in 2017, followed by Director of Projects Management in 2021.

Residential Department Manager

Brad joined the Power Pros team as Residential Project’s Manager in 2015 after being in the electrical trade since 2003.

Being consistent and focused on customer experience is a large part of Brad’s success. His communication style is best described as patient, thorough, and responsive – always taking an appropriate amount of time to answer questions and ensure everyone is happy with the agreed-upon course of action.

Fine home builders and their clients throughout the Fraser Valley & Metro Vancouver area have learned they can depend on Brad to provide practical solutions for projects that demand flexibility and innovative thinking.

Service Manager

Sr. EV Project Manager and Business Development Manager

Duanne has worked i the Electrical industry since 1996 and is a red seal ticketed Journeyman Electrician as well as an Electrical Field Safey Representative. He is well versed in Commercial, Industrial, Residential projects. Duanne has worked in the service industry since 1996 and has designed, estimate and supervised projects up to 1.5 million dollars. As one of the Service Managers it is his goal to deliver excellent customer service with knowledgeable technicians for your building’s needs.

Sr. EV Project Manager

Chris has worked in the electrical industry since 2003 and holds both a Red Seal and a Field Safety Representative, Class B certificate. Over the past 20+ years he has gathered experience installing, estimating, and managing a variety of different projects ranging from residential renovations to airside expansion projects at Vancouver International Airport. Chris’ current role as a Senior EV Project Manager has him managing a Team who delivers turn-key project services to clients seeking guidance installing electric vehicle charging systems. Services include consultation, project design, project planning/management, installation, and utility engagement. Chris enjoys the challenges that arise in the continually changing electrical vehicle charging industry and the daily interaction with clients and coworkers required to keep the Power Pros Team as a leading contractor in the EV industry.

Chief Estimator

Graham began his electrical apprenticeship in 1987. After working as a site superintendent for some of the largest electrical contractors in Metro Vancouver, Graham moved into an estimating role in the late 1990’s. Graham brought his vast experience of working on and estimating large commercial, industrial, and institutional projects to Power Pros Electrical in 2010. Graham has helped grow the Projects Department at Power Pros by providing accurate budgets, estimates and in assisting our clients with the electrical design for their projects.

Human Resources Manager

Janna brings years of dedicated experience in leadership and human resources management to our team at Power Pros. With a diverse education and background in both business and education, she implements HR strategy into Power Pros operations to enhance employee engagement and streamline processes to align with organizational goals. Outside of her professional endeavors, Janna is passionate about ongoing learning for herself, and continuing to teach the next generation. Diversity and inclusion are two of her cornerstones in her practice.

Controller

With over 15 years of experience in financial management and analysis, Melissa brings a wealth of expertise to our team as the Financial Controller. Specializing in strategic financial planning and reporting, Melissa plays a crucial role in steering our financial operations towards success and sustainability. Prior to joining Power Pros Electrical, Melissa held key roles in financial oversight and management with Air Liquide Canada. She demonstrated a strong track record in optimizing financial processes, reducing costs, and enhancing profitability.  She has also worked for different farms in the Fraser Valley helping them with bookkeeping responsibilities and financial analysis. Melissa holds a degree in Commerce from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. She specialized in financial analysis and control. In her spare time, she loves travelling with her family and has visited 11 different countries around the world.

Sr. Accounts Manager

Barb came to join the Power Pros Office team in 2010 after running her own Bookkeeping Business for over sixteen years in the Kootenays. Her bookkeeping skills were acquired from accounting courses taken at Open Learning College by correspondence as well as computer courses through North Island College in Selkirk College. She has developed a close working relationship with our accounting firm to ensure our financial records are reviewed in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for private Enterprises.
