Kirby founded Power Pros Electrical in 1999 after more than 11 years’ experience in the electrical industry. Since 1999, Kirby has created a successful company with 60 plus employees that can handle projects of all sizes. His goal is to provide Power Pros team with an honest and helpful work environment, where every team member can dedicate themselves to providing our customers with extraordinary service, exceptional workmanship and professional integrity. Kirby has established a strong working relationship with his staff to allow them to succeed in helping grow Power Pros into the successful company it has become today. Kirby has an active role in overseeing all facets of the company including its financial goals.
Kody started in the electrical construction industry in 1997 and he has been a project manager since 2003. His experiences in this industry have taken him across North America working on and managing a variety of projects ranging from big box commercial stores to large complex industrial jobs. Kody became Power Pros Project Director in 2011 and has successfully managed the largest projects to date. Kody uses his communication skills to understand the vision that the client wants to achieve and his strong leadership skills to drive the construction of the project ensuring that we meet our client’s goals.
Graham began his electrical apprenticeship in 1987. After working as a site superintendent for some of the largest electrical contractors in metro Vancouver, Graham moved into an estimating role in the late 90’s. Graham brought his vast experience of working on and estimating large commercial, industrial and institutional projects to Power Pros Electrical in 2010. Graham has helped grow Power Pros Project Department by providing accurate budgets, estimates and in assisting our clients on the electrical design of their projects.
After working in pipeline maintenance Lance moved to the electrical trade in 2005 and began working for Power Pros Electrical in 2006. He has worked in Industrial, Commercial and high-end residential sectors of the trade. His specific experience in electrical includes distribution, fire alarm (both addressable and non-addressable) installations, structured cabling systems,
underground services, sport park lighting, low and high voltage controls, low voltage lighting controls, power systems, lighting systems and troubleshooting in a verity of situations. After being a site superintendent for Power Pros Electrical Lance was moved into an estimator’s role in 2013.
Dana came to Power Pros Electrical as a Site Superintendent in 2012 after starting in the trade in 2002. Dana has a certification in “Building Energy and Resource Management” and is a “Natural Resources of Canada Certified Energy Advisor.” Dana’s has a variety of experience in the electrical trade especially in new building construction and in custom one off electrical installations. Dana’s tireless work ethic and strong communication skills have help build long term relationships with our clients. Ensuring a safe and efficient job site while meeting the project goals has been Dana’s identity during his time with Power Pros.
Steve has worked in the electrical trade since 2005. He was a project foreman for 4 years before moving into the service department. He attended BCIT and received his “Red Seal” and “Field Service Representative” certification. He has extensive knowledge in residential, commercial, small industrial, fire alarm, motor and sequence of operation controls, electric vehicle charging, print reading, estimating, and has a strong mechanical aptitude. Currently, Steve works in Power Pros service department as a Service Co-Ordinator where he provides quoting and management of projects for our customers.
Duanne has worked in the Electrical industry since 1996 and is a red seal ticketed Journeyman Electrician as well as an Electrical Field Safety Representative. He is well versed in Commercial, Industrial, Residential projects. Duanne has worked in the service industry since 1996 and has designed, estimated and supervised projects up to 1.5 million dollars. Duanne also specializes in Communications, Home Automation and Audio / Video such as Data systems, Boardrooms and Home Theater projects. As one of the Service Co-Ordinators it his goal to deliver excellent customer service with knowledgeable technicians for your building’s needs.
Barb came to join the Power Pros Office Team in 2010 after running her own Bookkeeping Business for over sixteen years in the Kootenays. Her bookkeeping background skills were acquired from accounting courses taken at Open Learning College by correspondence as well as computer courses through North Island College and Selkirk College. She has developed a close working relationship with our Accounting firm to ensure our financial records are reviewed in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises.
Barb is in charge of all our Financial responsibilities including: Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable Collections and Customer Credit applications; Processing and maintaining all Payroll records; Maintaining, analyzing and reconciling General Ledger accounts; Project Billing and maintaining Statutory Declarations for Progress Draws; Tracking Project Revenue and Expense accounts; Liaison with our Bonding Facility and Insurance Brokers; Preparing monthly GST/HST reports, WCB and Source Deductions; Preparing monthly Financial Reports for the President and Project Financial Reports for our Project Manager; Analyzing and interpreting financial data to recommend changes and improvements for cost controls.
Chantale has worked in different offices since 2008. She has her diploma in Event & Convention Management, and her Legal Administrative Assistant certificate. She had taken many courses over the years to improve her office skills such as Employee Orientation, Business Writing, Simply Accounting 101, Introduction to Business, Essentials of Marketing and Organizational Leadership. Chantale is currently working on getting her Human Resources certificate. She has been with Power Pros since 2011, coming from managing an event & rental business. She successfully plans all staff events including Power Pros annual golf tournament fundraiser. Outside of work, she has successfully planned fundraising events for the Abbotsford Burn Fund. Chantale is technically competent with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Kristin joined Power Pros team in 2013 after completing the Applied Business Technology Program at the University of the Fraser Valley. Kristin handles the administration duties for all of the projects within the Projects Division of Power Pros. Kristin’s attention to detail and strong organizational skills ensures that all of our projects documentation is dealt with efficiently. Kristin is also a direct conduit between our suppliers, clients and Site Superintendents which helps in dispersing critical information quickly.
Chris has worked in the electrical industry since 2003 and holds both Red Seal and a Field Safety Representative certificates. He has been in a service related role since 2006; first, as a Technician for 5 years before stepping into a Supervisory position. His experience includes estimation, management and involvement in small to mid-size projects that range from residential renovations to airside expansion projects at YVR - Vancouver International Airport. As a Service Co-Ordinator, Chris enjoys the daily interaction with clients and coworkers required to keep the Power Pros Service Team efficient and productive. ﾠ
Residential Division Projects Manager
Brad joined the Power Pros team as Residential Project's Manager in 2015 after being in the electrical trade since 2003.
Being consistently focused on the customer experience is a large part of Brad's success. His communication style is best described as patient, thorough, and responsive - always taking an appropriate amount of time to answer questions and ensure everyone is happy with the agreed-upon course of action.
Fine home builders and their clients throughout the Fraser Valley & Metro Vancouver area have learned they can depend on Brad to provide practical solutions for projects that demand flexibility and innovative thinking.
Wendy joined the Power Pros Team in 2016 after running her own Stand Up Paddleboarding business for 4 yrs & teaching yoga/meditation for 12 years.
She studied financial management at BCIT & worked in several accounting offices before taking some time off to
raise her 2 kids – now that they are older Wendy is happy to be back working in accounting.
Wendy is the Office Manager at Power Pros & oversees Human Resources, payroll & ITA (Industry Training Authority). She also helps out with some accounts receivable, accounts payable & business development.
In her spare time Wendy enjoys watersports, reading, trail running & hanging out with friends & family.
